Whether you are a resident or a non-resident of Curaçao you can easily obtain funding for your home. If you live on Curaçao you can obtain 100% financing using Fondo di Garantia pa Bibienda Korsou (FGBK). On Curaçao there are not many different mortgage types available. In general there are only 3 various forms: annuities, life and linear mortgages.

A mortgage has a maximum term between 30 and 35 years. To qualify for a mortgage at a bank on Curacao there are a set of conditions;

• If you are employed a permanent contract for an indefinite period is required.
• Income such as disability benefits is not regarded as income.
• A private entrepreneur must balance the gains of the past three to at least a positive balance.
